Leader in the multi - materials and POSM, we are looking for a Business Development Manager (H/F) in the course of our development. Our offer covers a wide range of products: Cosmetics, Alcohols and Spirits, Fine foods, Jewelry & Watches etc.

Our customers are internationally renowned brands, leaders in their sector.


JOB DESCRIPTION: Attached to the APAC Sales Director and APAC Sales Manager / business development unit, you are in charge of managing and growing a customer’s portfolio within Perfume & Cosmetics, Skincare, Fine Groceries, Wine & Spirits, but also expanding the sales in APAC in alignment with the group's strategy.


You are based in Shanghai and in charge of the Chinese market and you are building short, medium and long term development plans. You’ll organize and ensure the proper implementation of the business development in China from the client’s initial brief to the final sample approval.


Missions:

- Market and competition analysis

- Project development

- Analysis of customer’s portfolio and researching new prospects

- Mastering deadlines according to the production schedule

- Pricing analysis, costs, margins ...

- Innovation and new technologies survey

- Travels, tradeshows


You are totally involved in the field and deeply into the customer’s strategy orientations.

You recommend and advise the client on the market pros & cons.

True interface with the R&D department and the production sites (6 manufacturing plants), you benefit from the support of a Sales team and a design Team based in Paris (France), and a logistics department.

You bring to your customers a real added value and advise them with a custom and tailor-made packaging or POS solution in technical, sales and logistic terms.


Profile needed

- You have a sales background with a MASTER II Degree and 2 years experience in sales.

- You have a strong knowledge of the Luxury brand players (Purchasing, Technical development, Marketing,...) and a strong interest for Beauty / Cosmetics, Spirits and Food sectors is ESSENTIAL.

- Fluent Chinese is an absolute must !
